A friend to the end
(under the steeple)
I'd give myself for you
(in the church)
You were a shoulder to dry on
(somewhere in the crowd)
The body in a casket
(I am lost and crying)
Wife, aunt, friend, and mother
Everyone loved you
I don't understand why
How does this happen
You were a part of me
My heart will never be the same
A hole for a friend
In the heavens she resides
No longer by our side
A part of us all has past and died
Please don't throw dirt on my sister

(I really thought I'd lost it all)
(But I only took it for granted)
