Picking petals one by one
Does he love or not?
A young girl seeks the answer
Under sun that beats down hot

A daisy from the meadow
Is slowly getting smaller
A young man who had caught her eye
Was handsome dark and taller

The final petal falls to ground
She says he loves me not
But she’ll keep plucking petals
Till the right one she has got
