At three and running late
A new sign please don’t enter
Attached to someone’s gate

The sign gave little reason
Why he shouldn’t cross this border
And milk was needed on the step
To fulfil their daily order

This sign was clearly not for him
So why had it been written
He soon found out whilst bending down
When he got his backside bitten
