stars could float on high
the mighty sailors of the sky,
clouds could run on by
like children in the rye,
oceans could crash on coasts
and the rich would stop their boasts,
eyes that were forced close
were now open for those,
and the ballad songs were loving
as our ears began the moving,
lovers once scared now show
that love can rise above the low,
what if what ifs
became less like cliffs,
and more like the water in a lake
with no source but wind to cause shake,
and the lovers like beauty in the arts
could now be true, from their hearts
