David Taylor - Poetry Competion?
4 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
I would write one every day.
If I new how to touch your heart
I would do it in that way.
If I knew how to remove the tears
of all people for all their coming years;
I would write it down in verse
and sleep so deep and still
in a world that knows no fear.
But If I could win just one
heart that had to darkness come
and fill it full with light and joy,
then who, (me, myself or I?) , can say
the greatest prize has not been won.
