David Taylor - Heart And Centre

Each car on the busy street
speeds by with wheels spinning
dizzy movement busy minds
and at the centre of each wheel
a point that is more real
and never turns around
a point that seemingly profound
has no place where it is found
and as the people pound their feet
walking and the sidewalk meet
minds with thoughts they turn and turn
about their life and what is learned
each has a point more real
from where they summon love and zeal
not moving as they think and feel
like the centre of the wheel.
