Dance he said
Let the reeds sway
And the leaves jig
And the helicopter seeds
Pirouette groundwards
As the stars hold hands
And dance round you
With twinkling steps
The clouds rise up
To clapping thunder
Under lightening strobes
Of natures discothèque
As waves syncopate the beach
And driftwood rises to their rolling
With crashing cymbals announcing
Completion of their act
And on the sands we move as one
An act of creative dance
Under moon’s reflected sun.
