So you toss and you turn
in the deep of the night?
Is it too dark,
or perhaps it’s too light?
Not cold but thinking
a blanket held tight,
might just help get
to the end of the night.
Its soft and warm,
you pull it up tight.
But wake up with a start
when you find with a fright
what you thought was a blanket
has a tail and can bite!
