David Tallman - White Whale
7 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
And ink back into the pen
Do not let minds wander beaten paths
While eyes search endless oceans
For white whale submerged in frigid cold
Let the music escape ears and heads
And no longer whisper softly, incessantly
Do not let nostrils crave sweetness
But instead air, existence
No longer teetering alone on grey lines
Let screams echo filling deaf crowds
Let salty cheeks gleam for blind men
Let lilies soft grace find restless hands
Let whales turn from white
And come shimmering to the surface
Blending with a sun fading faster
Against a scarlet stained sky
Let someone call out from shore
I see you! I hear you! I feel you!
Let someone be no longer torn
