David Solomon - Music Man

Let it rain music,
to give a lover's dream,
of a dreamer's love,
with a music man,

not only creating
melodies and sounds,
to attract searching souls,
in an un-tried aspiration,

when a dreamer's dream,
as musically inspired,
by skin-thin covers,
on self identity,

until a man's voice,
brings truth,
in a dreamer's pain in want for love,
I cry at night,

and desire soon overcomes
a man's dream,
as music becomes memory
when the thought to forget

a considered love,
unquestioned in shyness,
of my own doubt,
in the reason to search,

and since I have given up
and this music man,
walking alone,
was only wanting my word,
to make it rain.
