Description

Our energy is negative,
though our egos may be large.
We're in the middle of everything;
you know we're highly charged.
We're particles of passion,
speeding in cosmic rays;
the nerve and verve of the universe,
we constantly amaze!

Electrons! Electrons!
That is what we're called.
Electrons! Electrons!
At the centre of the world.

Electrons! Electrons!
That is what we're named.
Electrons! Electrons!
We can never be contained.

Constructive, conductive,
we can do no more,
than shape the world to designs,
allowed by physical law.
Ions of existence,
all dynamos ablaze.
On a nuclei, high,
we appear a little crazed.

Electrons! Electrons!
That is what we are.
Electrons! Electrons!
Sub-atomic stars.

We're active and motivated,
but we won't cause a fuss.
We're giants, in our own sphere,
to you – the size of dust.
Molecules of the nucleus,
not subject to decay;
the making of the microcosm,
to us is child's play.

Electrons! Electrons!
We cannot hide our fame.
Electrons! Electrons!
Our power is untamed.

Electrons! Electrons!
Our promise shall be fulfilled.
Electrons! Electrons!
Till the end of all the world!
