Description

Dear my sleeping child
It came like a nightmare
Pained me like labour pains
That you my sleeping child
Were murdered before mothered
That you were denied the sound of my heartbeat
&
The taste of the fruit of my sweat
That you my innocent sleeping child
Paid eternal visit to the elders prematurely

My sleeping child
O bone dikoma magalagapa
Dikhupamarama re hwa natso
Nna ke rethetha sehlodimare boka mohlologadi
Dear child tell me why
Why did your mother shed no tear?
In the memory of your heartache calm

My sleeping child
Rest with ancestors
The earth so undomesticated
I will not cope rather visit you at paradise.

Badimo ba thaba tse tala nkamogeleng hle
Grand me one more chance to father
The blood of my waist
The skeleton of my soul
