You have left this world,
But not our minds.
Nor our hearts
Where we can find
Sanctuary
In our memories.
From days when
I could see
Happiness when
You’re with me.

Now, on this earth,
I find
I wont see you
outside my mind.
Yet I carry on
Your legacy.
And let live
Your will to be.

A soul so pure
On this imperfect Earth
Found Heaven the cure
To escape the worst.

But you’re not gone,
We feel you watching
From above,
And while things are tough,
We do what we can
For you and each other.

My eternally beloved
Grandmother.
