David Kowalczyk - Burning Small Satin Rivers
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
mirrors of a soul divided.
The left: the color of doubt.
The right: the color of wonder.
I was once both beautiful
and brave. My smile
drove away the clouds.
Today, the ghosts of my youth
are demanding answers.
I cast a stone of silence.
A Joshua tree drinks the stars.
Tomorrow, the sun will rise
black in the sky.
