David Howerton - After a while it looks better

Pushed hard (adjusting chair)
didn't feel so good anymore.
Face red, jaws clinched
breath slow waiting
for pain to ease.
Finally through dripping sweat
a smile. I think
it's time for coffee.
Rub eyes red with sweat
drink coffee,
things are better.
