David Howerton - A walk, looking for nothing

Dark damp evening
walking roads
seeing headlights
not much else.
Cool damp air makes nose drip
wipe on shirt sleeve
pretend I haven't.
Talk a bit little things
walking slow up first hill (Elm Street)
not to bad
night is quiet.
Nor do I see anyone,
makes for good evening.
