David Holbrook - Himself.
1 Views • Jun 13, 2014
Description
You know.
He has a hard shell,
A bluey-brown coat.
He was caught easily enough,
In a cage on the bed.
With the promise of pleasure,
A bait.
No one asked his permission,
No 'I Do '.
A few thought it cruel,
And partook not.
She said better to place him in warm water,
And increase the heat to boiling.
Kinder.
The flesh would be tender,
No contractions due to the shock.
Of boiling water.
His bluey-brown coat
Silently screamed
Pink.
His hands were tied.
He had value.
A romantic meal for two,
The Lobster.
