David Harris - Your Eyes
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
that blows through your hair.
Warm is the love,
we both share.
Bright as the sun,
way up above,
is the light in your eyes
when you’re in love.
Your hair is soft,
as first falling snow.
Your love is warm,
and will never let me go.
Your touch is gentle,
like a baby’s skin,
and when we argue,
I usually let you win.
Green as the sea,
are your eyes,
with an innocent stare,
that we can both share.
(Date written unknown, probably around 1978)
