David Harris - Whenever We Are Apart

Tenderness comes from your touch,
and love fills this lonely heart.
Though no one will ever know
the loneliness, I feel
whenever we are apart.

Evenings are spent in splendour,
having you close and near,
but then sadness fills the air,
an ache grows a in my heart
whenever we are apart.

Only love knows
the feelings that we both share,
and why we feel so lonely
whenever we are apart,
even though love may fill the air.
