David Harris - When I’m Dead And Gone
34 Views • Jun 11, 2014
Description
I can’t appreciate them when I’m dead.
Let me enjoy each coloured bloom
and smell its appealing scent.
For when I’m dead I won’t be here
to see or smell anything at all,
so give me flowers while I’m alive
and I can appreciate them then.
For when I’m dead, I’m dead
and all the beauty here will be gone,
so if you want to give me flowers
give them to me while I’m alive
for I’ll never appreciate them
when I’m dead and gone.
