David Harris - To Be Loved

Colours flicker across my mind
like a rainbow after the rain.
Bright and glowing colours
that leave with them no pain.
They are all the colours
I can see within my world,
but the thing that has no colour
is the dearest to my heart.
It is called love,
love for all mankind
and all the creatures
that live there within.
Whether they be large or small,
ferocious or gentle.
They are there to be loved
by one and all.
