David Harris - Solitude Is Not Loneliness
1 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
with the Lord and a prayer
to keep us company.
We need the solitude
to refresh our thoughts
that sometimes go astray,
to put them back on track
making us feel secure
in our mind and body
to face all our challenges
for one more day.
Although we sit in solitude
we are never on our own
the voices of friends and family
are never far away
to give us comfort
on any given day.
Solitude is not loneliness,
but just a state
we need to be
from time to time
letting the world and its troubles
leave us far behind.
