David Harris - Rich Beyond Compare

Everyone has their dreams,
always hoping one day
those dreams will come true
and I am no exception.
My dream was to become rich and famous
and some of my dream has come true.
I am rich beyond compare,
but not in money, oh no.
Richer than that by far.
I am rich with friends
that spread around the world
that I have adopted them into my family.
I guess I’m almost famous
as my work is read around the world.
Though fame doesn’t bother me anymore,
it is the richness of my friendships
I hold close to my heart.
No amount of money can make me richer
than what I am now,
rich with caring friends.
