a comment on a poem
that I should polish it.
Polish a poem?
What they neglected to say
was what kind of wax I should use.
Unfortunately, I am not that kind of writer.
What you see is what you get.
I write a poem only once,
and what you see is raw.
Raw energy from my pen and mind.
Therefore, if you do not like it,
I am sorry; it is the only way
I know how to write.
