Description

No more to feel the revelry,
between hearts yours and mine,
or smell the scented rose
on the prickly vine.
Descending clouds of parting,
like a stake in crevice, fall.
For there is no link,
beyond this sudden wall.
We stand here for a moment,
midst infinities waste.
Our kisses sweet sorrow,
the last we shall taste.
Tomorrow will never come,
we only live for today.
No more time can we borrow,
no more can we stay.
Sadness may remain
in the years that pass.
For no moment is without doubt,
that our parting is wrong,
that we should be strong,
take the rough with the smooth,
regardless gain or loose.
But something greater calls.
To answer I must go.
So lets have no tears of sorrow,
to stain our parting so.
The sun will rise in the morning,
our lives begin again.
We’ll search out new joys
and search out new friends.
