David Harris - Paranoia

Often when we chase our dreams
we chase our yesterdays as well
to seek out old acquaintances
to share our glory achieved.
We seek them in many avenues
we may stumble upon
to find the missing keys of our past
in hope for words to fuel our ego
and our new found pride,
finding none our elation slips
and our paranoia begins again.
