The days slipped away
A face in sadness of concern
A voices cries out in despair
“Where are we going? ”
The answer eludes all he asked
The days move quicker
Creases of fear lines the face
Age mares each individual
Clock hands move faster
The hands become a blur
Face shrinks in features
The lone voice cries out again
“Where are we going? ”
The reply was elusive
Looking around
The reason becomes clear
He was alone
With only his voice
For comfort
Tears leaked from his eyes
His answer became clear
He knew where he was going -
No where
