David Harris - An Ode To Trees
11 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
standing tall and noble everywhere.
Most of the time we pass
giving them not a second thought.
All we see is greenery there,
we never think of the variety
and the effect they have on our lives.
Nor do we think of all the things
that live within them there.
Each has its own family
that within the foliage survive,
some are minute often difficult to see.
While others bring joy to our eyes
as they fly across the skies.
Some trees bare fruit,
a bounty of food for us all.
There are so many species
and we should be thankful
that God gave us them all.
We should feel sad
when someone’s axe hits
and another tree falls.
