David Harris - A Sunday Prayer 14
2 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
once again, we will be celebrating
the birth of your son Jesus.
Even as I say this,
the cold nights are approaching;
thousands upon thousands
will be sleeping in doorways
and ally ways with nowhere to go.
Their plight is not uncommon Lord.
Their reason for being there
are varied and many.
It is to these lost souls that I pray to you today.
With your almighty power,
help all of them through
the cold nights that lay ahead.
Cover them with your umbrella of love.
Keep them all safe from harm
and let each and everyone of them
see a brighter dawn.
Amen
