DAVID GERARDINO - RUBY AND 23 FITZROY ROAD

ESCAPED, and birthed into calm,
something odd is in the newspaper,
and ruby root falls like a heavy rock
to the ground, broken like a twig on a
tree, ruby root looks up, and sees the
clouds crying, and a child, that inner
child, waiting for peace, and maybe,
just maybe..........love.
