David Darbyshire - Wonderful

We were walking through the park,
'She' lovelingly touched my hand,
thats when all the warm feelings,
suddenly began.

I looked at her calm
and wonderful grace,
and of all the happiness
written upon her face.

We smiled and laughed,
joked in the warm suns rays.
We both thought this was beautiful,
and should last for many days.

But the path came to an end,
A road we did meet,
The grass turned to ashfalt as
we followed our happy feet.
