It ain't so bad, Bud
to be stuck in the Mud
So you do not have to swear! ,
your not going anywhere.

Two green rubber boots
stuck in, like tree roots
seems I've played my last hand,
sinking a bit, like in quick sand

Don't worry Bud, Dave will save the Day
I have a rope and a pulley, that will be the way
Thigh one end around your neck, throw the other over the branch
Then I'll tie it to my truck, and drive off towards the ranch

Dave, Dave are you sure this is the way?
Bud listen, we should get goin, better no delay!
So hold on tight Bud, quiet now, no more disputes
don't worry so much, you'll slide right out them boots! !

It's funny now I think on that day
Poor Bud, his boots are now clay
we did get him out in the end
And Bud is still my Best Friend
