David Darbyshire - I kept that Thought

I had a thought,
that entered my mind.
A smile it brought,
cause she was so kind.

That thought I held,
all day long.
Nothing at all,
could go wrong.

Even into the night,
I kept that thought.
I slept quite well,
nice dreams it brought.

I dreamt of a princess
with love and happiness.
Woke up in the morning,
still felt her kindness.
