David Darbyshire - Fall

on a very narrow, thin ledge
sitting up high on a wall
wishing no big gust of wind come along
causing me to Fall

I am worried
because on one side
is a thick hedge
on the other, nothing to cushion my Fall

It's fifty fifty
from which way the wind blows
one little push........
who would I call?

But the day was still
and the view was nice
and as a matter of fact
I felt quite Tall

So I better get down now
and call it a day
cause if I had fell
I would feel ever so small
