David Blake - Dawn

Somewhere in the darkness,
though I have tried I lost your
love. Growing colder, the
passion of the past can never
be undone. In the lonely
light of everything that can
now never be, I await your
return. Pretending not to see,
I bow my head knowing all is
lost. Lamenting the passage
of time, it is only in your memory
that I will ever be set free.
