Up above is the bright blue sky
Blue it is all over the world
Patches of white come running by
Beautiful forms, these patches make
I see forms of hands and of stuffed animals
I want to reach up and touch the sky
All is peaceful above and all is wonderful
But far far away, is the bright blue sky
Far beyond my reach

Alas! A huge roar and a burst of life
And there goes the birds, flying away
Big pregnant clouds, the heavens are due
Black is the clouds, the sky is in mourning
Its black above and the winds are heavy
The trees are whispering, it’s a deafening roar
Bright light pierces the black sky
What was once beautiful, looks a hot mess
Tears come rushing down from above
Tears come rushing down my eyes
