Dashcam captures dramatic pet rescue

Dashcam footage has emerged from Drogheda in Ireland of two dogs and a cat being rescued by their owners, after escaping from their house.

The video, filmed earlier this week, shows one of the dogs managing to open the front door before running up the road with the other dog.

The owner realises they've gone and runs out to rescue them, but forgets to close the door so the cat escapes too.

Finally, after touring the neighbourhood in their car, the owners managed to find the three animals and return them home safely.
