Description

In one of the greatest romantic comedies of the last decade (second only to Ewe Boll's Darfur), Markus "stool" Uhl shows off his amazing talent for on screen dialog and acting. In a 2008 pamphlet on film making (no. S-78) which of he distributed 100,000 copies from a small cargo plane over Hiroshima states, "The actor must be in the film as she is in life. The film must then, in a sense, become the actor. It is the duty of the director to make this happen. The director must play his role and do all in his power to make this loosen [sic]." One of the Hiroshiman locals who was inspired by the pamphlet to make films, Hideo Fukaibashi, director of the 2010 Palm D'or second runner up film, "Autumn Lashings of Cream", has recently commented in Bacchus Magazine that "here Uhl has lived up to his own challenge: The film has become the actor. Thus, the actor directs the film." The historian and renowned film septic Fuugen Lichtencrak has since pointed out that that Markus Uhl is also credited as the director of the film.
