Darren Tyler Howard - Friendly Paradox

An old man and woman sat in my section.
They just talk and enjoy one another's company.
I bring them their food.
They are greatly burdened by a family issue.
The woman and I make a joke about drugs
(We both Use)
She laughs.
They sit and talk more.
The man tells her
'It will all work out'
'It always does.'
She hands me 30 dollars and says
'Thanks for understanding earlier...
Some people don't get it.'
We all smile as I tell them goodbye.
Then I clean their table.

But we're the ones that are messed up?
