Darlene Thomson - Sorry

Everyone gets angry, mad, and upset,
We often say things we never meant.
The first thing we do is apologize.
And we really do mean we are sorry,
that we were out of line, that the remarks were uncalled for.
So again we apologize.
But how many times do we have to say we're sorry?
How many times is the incident going to be thrown at us?
God tells us to forgive us 7 times 70 times.
Yet we still make our loved ones pay?
Doesn't make a lot of sense. If these are the people we love,
Then we sure need to learn to forgive.
