Dark Symphony - That would be me: introduction

I begin this quest of mine
today, glancing into your eyes and then away
as anonymity defines
someone who has stood the test of time
you might feel me within, around

wherever,
you recognize
the presence of art,
of the sky, of the light
and of the night
whenever,
the lips of the roses
are wet with the dew drops

or when winter comes
to an abrupt, absurd stop
these words which flow winding their ways
creating their own paths
like the river, sometimes playful, energetic

ironically at other instances
unleashing their wrath
I speak into your soul and heart
even though we might be worlds apart
