Stuck somewhere between the great American songwriters and British guitar indie, Darcy's style is made immediately recognisable by his powerful, sometimes aggressive voice. In his songs, melancholic lyrics and anthemic melodies meet folky shuffles and acoustic guitar rhythms. The 20 year old, half-French half-British singer, who used to be a choirboy in Munich's Frauenkirche Cathedral, is currently one of the most exciting new acts in Germany, and his debut EP “Extended Play” is out now.
