Danny Taylor - Writer's Block
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Because there’s nothing in my head,
I put my pencil to the paper,
But my finger movement’s dead,
I could write about surroundings,
Or what I’ve looked at on T.V,
About a woman’s pretty smile,
About a book, or rock, or tree,
I could think about the moonlight,
Or the way the seasons change,
Or about a melody I've heard,
But my options grow in range,
I could rhyme about a vision,
Or a memory I’ve had,
Maybe something soon will hit me,
But for now, my block is bad,
I have nothing now to offer,
Any word I jot is bliss,
I could not think of what to write about,
So all I have is this…
