The time seems to change
One day it's fast another slow.
Life drags on taking everyone for a ride
We don't ever seem to mind
The birds won't sing their song

What is it we can't see
What is wrong with us
Only the brave touch it
The rest just watch it
Why don't we adress it
It's there in our grasp

What is so hard to understand
Are we in another land
Do we know what it will do
Or are we even caring
Will we ever see what is going on
One day we will all be gone

It is then that it will be too late
So should we sit and wait
Or is it time we took a stand
So we know it will soon be grand
By the time our children come
This nation will have won
