everyday i fight back tears
because i refuse to let you see me cry
i have to hide this hurt
but it's hard to hide behind a broken heart
everyday i tell my self that it's ok
i can make it through this day
i will not show my pain
because then you will know that i care
i don't want to hurt anymore
but you cause so much pain within me
i let my guard down thinking i could trust you
now im fighting emotions
i shouldn't have
because i shouldn't love you
