Danielle Guscott - Head Space

Excuse me - can you help me? I'm lost.
Have you seen the way out of my head?
I seem to have taken a wrong turn
After examining my ethics.
I was distracted by the fireworks
Exploding in my imagination
And stumbled, quite accidentally, mind you
Into a grey area, rather shady and dark.
Please excuse my ignorance
I've not yet been to this part of myself.
Which way out from here?
I don't seem to be able to go back
Yet there is not path ahead.
