Danielle DuCote - Too Late

I wonder what you felt when you watched me walk away
You knew that life would just crumble that day
I tried to show you what I had in my heart
Yet you insisted on tearing it apart.
Why did you do that to me?
I thought you cared.
Yet deep down inside I knew you weren't there
I gave you my life and that I had
Each day I tried not to be mad
Because each day brought great pain
The blood flows rapidly like a steady rain
I want to move on, to forget what we had
yet deep down inside I know it was bad
But I must move on I cant stay and wait
For a perfect love that is way too late.
