I feel your pain as I see you cry.
Sitting here wishing I can stop
The pain from showing in you eyes.
Wishing I could heel your pain by
Stopping all the hurt and anger
You feel inside.

Wishing I could return your friend
Who died. wishing for me to give
You strength that will
bring this pain to an end.

Seeing you cry made me weep
For I did nothing to help you deep.
I said no words for you to hear
Which was because I was full of fear.

The fear I would say some thing wrong
Or make you hate me. I know how
You feel, I feel your pain
Seeing you hurt is causing me pain.

As I watch you from the other side of the room
So pale, so full of gloom, All I wanted is to hold
You head upon my shoulder. let you cry out your tears
I’ll lend you my ears. Anything to hold you near to let
You know I‘m always here to fight away your fears.

I long for the time when you’re your face shines
When you have no more tears. And that smile
Appears And we don’t remember any tears,
Just smiles forever through out our living years.
