When I look to the sky,
I see a truth restrained
When I look into my mind
I see the shadows still remain
But darling;
When I look into your eyes
Can’t you see the same?

Is cold when I hold you it’s
Been such a long long time and yes
I know hearts can change, but
I've spent forever trying to kill the pain
Please tell me different darling; if
For you it has not been the same

Nothing can control me,
Nothing can hold me
Until, I find that love once estranged.
Yes I hold a candle but the lonely wind
Only fans the flame
If you know somewhere inside you still love me,
Then darling please don’t refrain
