I shut the curtains on the remains of the day
My love is left lonely
Waiting to be found
Making not a sound
In the silence that is the night.
Hours of time spent in contemplation
Of touch, sound and sensation
Of being so close, so close
So near and yet so far
To a lover who I could love under the stars
But she seems so far away from me
And a chance meeting.
